Mississippi couple arrested for $162,000 Medicaid fraud

LOUISIANA (KLFY) — A Mississippi couple arrested by Louisiana Bureau of Investigation for defrauding Medicaid of over $162,000.

Elina DeLeon,35, and Vincent Delon,51, of Carriere, Mississippi are each charged with one count of government benefits fraud, officials said.

According to Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, they received a criminal referral from Louisiana Department of Health regarding allegations that Vincent and Elina DeLeon, both Medicaid recipients, allegedly concealed their place of residence and other information for purposes to receive Medicaid benefits…
