PEARLAND, TX – The Pearland Police Department has arrested two men from Houston in connection with a series of burglary of motor vehicle (BMV) incidents that occurred in the Southern Trails and Shadow Creek Ranch neighborhoods between July 27 and August 4.
The arrests were made on August 4 after a suspect vehicle, identified through resident surveillance video and the department’s Flock Safety License Plate Recognition (LPR) system, triggered an alert. Pearland officers conducted a traffic stop and detained the two occupants: Jabari Demas, 20, and Jayvion Bickham, 19, both from Houston.
During the stop, police found burglary tools and debit and credit cards belonging to victims of the recent burglaries. Both men have been charged, and the investigation is ongoing, with additional charges possible…
