SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A Utah family’s dream of a fresh start in Florida turned into a devastating ordeal after the trailer carrying nearly all of their belongings crashed halfway across the country, and the moving company never told them.
“It was supposed to be a fresh start for us as a family,” explained Dominic Chidester to KUTV on Tuesday.
The Chidester family had just sold their Utah home and packed everything they owned into a trailer operated by SureMove, a division of Estes Express, for a cross-country move to Florida. They watched it pull away, trusting their memories, valuables, and keepsakes were on their way to a new beginning…
