‘Heartbroken, disgusted and sad’: Family speaks out after Sebastian’s Playground in Solon vandalized again

SOLON (WJW) — What was meant to be a joyful space for families has recently become the target of repeated vandalism in Solon.

“I was heartbroken, disgusted and sad,” said Kelly Baylog of Solon, describing how she felt after discovering the damage at Sebastian’s Playground in Solon Community Park.

The playground, which opened this past spring, was built in memory of Kelly’s son, Sebastian Botirius, who passed away in 2022 at just 4 years old.
