Former Aiken official found guilty after stealing 168K from dead mother

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A federal jury has convicted Cynthia Delores Holland, 61, of Aiken, formerly the county director of voter registration and elections, with theft of government property after fraudulently obtaining Social Security benefits.

A guilty verdict was delivered following a day and a half of trial.
