Breeze Airways to add seasonal flight to Orlando

The Erie International Airport has good news for those who like to escape the cold temperatures during the spring.

Breeze Airways is adding a third seasonal departure from Erie to Orlando, Florida.

Transfer of Erie Zoo ownership approved

The flights will run in 2026, from February 17 through April 28, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Derek Martin, the executive director of the airport, said the addition gives the community more flexibility for travel.

“Obviously, there’s been demand for the Orlando service, I mean, they’re going year-round,” Martin said. They are still operating this summer with 90-plus percent load factor on the flights to and from Orlando, so the demand is there, and they want to take advantage of the spring break time frame and Easter, where more people are apt to travel during that time period.”…
