CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Four men were arrested following a five-month-long investigation in Clovis related to narcotic sales, the Clovis Police Department said Wednesday.
Police said they arrested 25-year-old Jeremiah Gonzalez, 27-year-old Jonathan Simmavong, 25-year-old Gursimran Mahal and 26-year-old Zackary Torres. They were all booked into the Fresno County Jail in connection with narcotic-related offenses.
The arrests follow a five-month-long investigation that was related to the sales of narcotics, prescription drugs, and illegal nicotine sales. It began with an anonymous tip from Crime Stoppers, which led detectives to the suspect’s locations.
The investigation resulted in detectives serving four search warrants in Fresno and Clovis, the arrest of the four suspects, and the seizure of a loaded handgun, electronics, OxyContin, Adderall, Xanax, candy bars containing psilocybin mushrooms, flavored nicotine vape products and cash.
Additionally, officers said they discovered a smoke shop in Clovis also associated with the suspects, which they said is the reason the flavored nicotine vape products were seized…
