‘We need all the help we can get’ | Knoxville City Council approves more than $400,000 to support homeless services

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — On Tuesday night, the Knoxville City Council approved Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon to provide more than $400,000 for emergency services for the unhoused population.

“We’ve approved $400,000, and these funds will go towards organizations that are on the front lines doing the work,” Kincannon said.
