Sarasota neighborhood flooded by Hurricane Debby still recovering one year later

SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — It’s been one year since Hurricane Debby brushed the coast of the Bay Area. The storm dumped rain and flooded neighborhoods in its wake.

The Laurel Meadows neighborhood in Sarasota was one of the hardest hit. Streets and homes in the neighborhood were flooded, and belongings were destroyed.
