City of Philadelphia to pay nearly $3M after police chase leaves girl, great-aunt injured

The City of Philadelphia has agreed to pay a nearly $3 million settlement in connection with a high-speed police chase that seriously injured a 6-year-old girl and her great-aunt in 2017.

Lawyers for the victims say a Philadelphia police officer pursued a suspect at high speeds through West Philadelphia into Upper Darby in April of that year.
