LIVERPOOL N.Y. — The Syracuse Police Department and the Onondaga County Sheriffs will host their annual National Night Out events today, Aug. 5, at Kirk Park in Syracuse from 4 to 7 p.m. and Long Branch Park in Liverpool from 5pm to 8pm.
The event is part of a nationwide campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie in an effort to make communities safer and more united.
Local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, first responders, the FBI, and members of the military will be on hand for the event. Families can enjoy a variety of free activities including a bounce house, face painting, balloon characters, a mobile petting zoo, interactive bubble shows, music, dancing, and more…
