The Arkansas Board of Corrections voted Friday to participate in a recidivism reduction pilot program proposed by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
The pilot will feature a whole-of-government approach to preventing reincarceration, according to Cortney Kennedy, Sanders’ chief legal counsel.
