A C7 Corvette owner was shot in the face during an apparent vehicle theft attempt in unincorporated Arlington Heights, Illinois, late last month.
According to a report from ABC 7 Chicago, the incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. local time around the 3900 block of Galesburg Avenue. The incident has shocked residents of the typically quiet suburban community. The suspects are currently still at large.
According to officials, the victim was standing near the Corvette parked in his driveway when he was confronted and shot by unknown suspects. He was rushed to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. His condition has not yet been publicly disclosed…
