The snub is official. San Antonio’s prolific personal injury attorney Thomas J. Henry will not get to rename Corpus Christi’s American Bank Center after all. Instead, as announced in June, that honor will go to another Coastal Bend personal injury law firm, Hilliard Law. The American Bank Center made the renaming official in a Facebook post on Tuesday, August 5. The changeover, which the center characterized as a “bold new chapter,” will go into effect on Sept. 1.
“American Bank Center will officially become Hilliard Center, proudly named in partnership with Hilliard Law, a firm deeply rooted in community, built on service, and committed to Corpus Christi,” the post reads.
“Same iconic venue. New name. Bright future,” the post further reads.
