As Sioux Falls continues to add more and more of the trappings of a big city, certain things come with those additions that aren’t always popular with the locals.
One of the biggest changes to hit South Dakota’s largest city recently is a reduction in free parking options in and around the downtown area.
Fewer Free Options
For years, visitors could enjoy free parking downtown on Saturdays, but that option has now been eliminated.
The city’s newest spot where paid parking is the norm is The Steel District, which opened last fall, just south of Falls Park.
