SPOKANE, Wash. — Firefighters rescued a man and his dog after finding them stranded on the riverbank near Riverfront Park.
The Spokane Fire Department says crews were dispatched to Riverfront Park around 5:30 p.m. on Monday for a report of a person and a dog in the water, prompting a significant response.
