Two top cops in New Jersey have been placed on leave amid “serious concerns” over the handling of the murder-suicide that claimed the life of beloved veterinarian Lauren Semanchik and her new boyfriend.
The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office said Thursday it took over the Franklin Township Police Department less than a week after New Jersey State Lt. Ricardo Santos shot and killed Semanchik, 33, and her new beau, Tyler Webb, at her Franklin home Friday night.
