Whataburger fans, get ready to celebrate! National Whataburger Day falls on Friday, August 8th, and this year marks a special milestone: Whataburger’s 75th anniversary!

Founded in 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas, by Harmon Dobson, Whataburger quickly became a Texas staple, known for its big, flavorful burgers and fresh ingredients. What started as a single burger stand has now expanded to over 1,000 locations in 17 states!

This year, Whataburger is marking its 75th anniversary with some fantastic deals. Download the Whataburger app and snag a Whataburger for just 75 cents between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time on Friday.

(Limit one per customer, add-ons cost extra). The chain is also releasing a new collectible 32-ounce cup, available for a limited time at participating locations and online.

Corpus Christi, the birthplace of Whataburger, will host a special celebration at Whataburger Field on August 8th during the Corpus Christi Hooks game. Fans are encouraged to wear their orange gear and join the festivities.

Whataburger is also giving back to the community with a $100,000 donation to Texas flood relief efforts and directing proceeds from some commemorative cup sales to community organizations.

But the celebration doesn’t end there! Whataburger is teaming up with the return of King of the Hill on Hulu.
