‘Covering costs’: Livingston County Animal Shelter seeks approval for fee increases

The Livingston County Health Department isn’t the only municipal entity considering increased fees in response to financial strain.

On Aug. 4, Animal Shelter Director Christy Peterson approached the Livingston County Board’s General Government and Health and Human Services Committee to request a fee increase for the first time in five years.
