Bringing The Arts To Homeschoolers Across Southwest Florida

Monday, August 12, marks the day that children in grades K-12 will be returning to the classroom for another year, except for home schoolers who will continue their studies at home.

Home schooling has become a popular choice in Florida. During the 2022-2023 school year, over 150,000 students participated in home education programs. That’s nearly a 60% increase over the last five years.

Parents and caretakers are looking for interesting ways to fill their homeschooler’s days, such as taking them to museums such as the Cape Coral Museum of History, nature centers such as Rotary Park, and libraries, such as the Cape Coral-Lee County Public Library.
