A pursuit of an allegedly stolen vehicle led to a chase through Hall County that reportedly left another driver dead Wednesday afternoon.
Gainesville Police Department officials confirmed Thursday morning that they received reports late Wednesday afternoon of a pickup truck being stolen from the Hardy Chevrolet dealership on Browns Bridge Road. The male suspect in the case allegedly entered the dealership and appeared interested in buying a vehicle. When he was allowed inside one of the trucks, he allegedly drove away with it.
A report from the Georgia State Patrol indicated that they later saw a blue Chevrolet Silverado matching the description of the stolen truck on Shallowford Road just before 5:50 p.m. Troopers attempted to pull the truck over, but the driver sped away…
