Deputies looking for exotic African cat stolen from Upstate animal sanctuary

ANDERSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said they are searching for an exotic pet after a man stole it from an animal sanctuary.

According to deputies, 20-year-old Bennett Van Ever, a former wildlife rescue employee, was charged with grand larceny after he stole the African Serval cat overnight on July 10.
