Tennessee Firefighters Save 130-Year-Old Home Filled With ‘Numerous Antiques’

Firefighters in Tennessee saved a 130-year-old home after it caught fire early Tuesday.

Rural Metro Fire said crews responded at around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday to a reported house fire on the 4800 block of Anderson Road in Northeast Knox County. Firefighters arrived to find the home, which was built in 1895, on fire with smoke pouring out an attic window and visible flames on an upper level.

The Knoxville Fire Department said it also sent crews at around 6 a.m. to provide mutual aid, due to the home’s close proximity to the city…
