Letter: Read Oak Ridger’s article on the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombs on website

To the Editor:

Our daughter, Linda Coutant, a staff writer for the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), has written an article on Oak Ridge’s Manhattan Project National Historical Site for the Association’s electronic distribution. The article is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the bombings of Japan.

Linda was raised in Oak Ridge, and returned recently to visit her parents and experience the new K-25 museum and the new location for the Friendship Bell. You can read her article here: https://www.npca.org/articles/9749-the-80th-anniversary-of-the-bombings-of-japan…
