MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police are looking for a man accused of briefly forcing a woman and a dog into his vehicle in Mt. Juliet.
The Mt. Juliet Police Department announced on social media platform X at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6 that the law enforcement presence at Providence Marketplace was connected to a domestic-related incident.

According to officials, an armed man confronted a woman in order to take a dog. The woman and the dog were reportedly forced into his vehicle, but they were quickly found unharmed.
The suspect — who authorities described as “known” but didn’t identify in Wednesday afternoon’s post — fled in a car. Officers are currently working to find him.
