Temperatures stay in the mid-80s with scattered rain

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures are similar to yesterday morning, with temperatures in the low-70s at the coast and upper-60s to near 70 degrees inland. It is mostly dry this morning, but there is more rain on the way today. Skies will start overcast, but some sunshine will come later in the morning, similar to yesterday, especially at the coast.

Temperatures remain mild for early August in the mid-80s, and temperatures stay in the mid-80s through the weekend. No day is a washout, but scattered showers and a few storms will continue to pop up, especially in the afternoon every day through the weekend. 5-day rainfall totals are 1-2 inches, with the higher amounts closer to the coast.
