Connecticut man who had been drinking arrested after disturbance at hotel

A Connecticut man was arrested after a fight with his significant other led to being trespassed from their room at a local hotel.

An officer responded to Microtel, located at 850 S U.S. Hwy. 27/441, regarding a verbal dispute around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The sole employee on duty advised that he saw 35-year-old Serfraz Khan causing a verbal disturbance in the lobby with his significant other.

The employee believed Khan was intoxicated and wanted him to be trespassed. He had also told Khan to leave the hotel, but he refused to do so, the report said.

The officer met Khan at his rented hotel room and immediately smelled alcohol on him. He admitted to drinking multiple alcoholic beverages before the officer got there. He also stumbled while walking and bumped into the walls in the hallway after getting his belongings from his room, the report said…
