ELKTON — Two men and a woman were arrested late last month after investigators caught them with a Molotov cocktail near an Elkton neighborhood were planning to firebomb a vehicle in retaliation for the fatal stabbing of 14-year-old boy that occurred in that community about one week earlier, according to an update provided by the Elkton Police Department.
Police reported that an EPD officer found the homemade explosive device inside a green Ford pickup truck at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, after the driver, Bobbie Sue Perkins, 28, of Elkton, allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign before making a left turn onto Landing Lane from Road A in Hollingsworth Manor.
