CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The Iowa Appeals Court has upheld the conviction of a man who was found guilty of killing a young woman in Cedar Rapids in 2022.
In April 2022, police responded to a home in Cedar Rapids after receiving a report by Arthur Flowers regarding a woman who suffered from a heroin overdose.
Law enforcement arrived at the home and made contact with Flowers. Flowers then led police to a bathroom upstairs, where a deceased woman, identified as Emily Leonard, was laying on the floor…
