Moncus Park in Lafayette to double parking capacity

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — In Lafayette, plans are in the works to add more parking space to Moncus Park. Moncus Park executive director, JP MacFadyen says additional parking spaces are on the way.

Currently, there are 150 spots available with the on-site parking lot, plus overflow spaces. MacFadyen says the goal is to double what they have.

“In addition to the parking at the Farmers’ Market Pavilion, we’re going to expand the current parking lot to take it down the fence line by Reds,” MacFadyen said…
