ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Rockford Park District is presenting residents with options for an overhaul of Bloom Park.
According to the park district, the playground at Bloom Elementary School, 2912 Brendenwood Road, is past its useful 15-20 year lifecycle, and a new playground is needed.
However, the district is leaving where the playground goes and what resources are used up to neighbors, posting plans of the proposed upgrades on its Facebook page.
