St. Paul police have found a plaque honoring hometown hero Suni Lee, but they still haven’t recovered the bust stolen from a city park last week.
The St. Paul Police Department announced last Thursday that the bronze bust of the Olympic gymnast had disappeared from Phalen Regional Park.
The plaque with Suni’s name was found last Friday near the shoreline of Lake Phalen, not far from where it was displayed alongside the bust, which remains missing as of Tuesday afternoon, a department spokesperson confirmed.
