(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) made an arrest connected to a string of burglaries, car thefts, and weapons violations.
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, detectives with CSPD’s Metro Burglary Unit acted on a search warrant in the 2300 block of North Nevada Avenue, near Bonforte Park. This was part of an investigation connected to a July arrest of a minor tied to an auto theft and burglary pattern, where investigators identified a potential collaborator residing on North Nevada Avenue.
Detectives arrested Jaime Gallegos-Payne for multiple felony and misdemeanor offenses, including unlawfully providing or permitting a Juvenile to possess a Handgun, Possessing a Dangerous or Illegal Weapon, Contributing to the Delinquency of a minor, and violation of a protection order…
