Caldwell approves townhomes, low-income apartments in two Ustick Rd. developments

As early as next spring, people driving along Ustick Rd. west of Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell may notice some denser developments going up.

The Caldwell City Council approved plans for two developments within a half mile of each other at its meeting on Monday night.

The council approved the annexation and preliminary plat for Copper Pointe Subdivision, a 128-townhome and apartment home development with some commercial sites on 8.5 acres at the southeast corner of Ustick Rd. and Florida Ave. Both the annexation and the plat passed 5-1, with Council Member Diana Register voting in opposition…
