Attempted murder suspects will now face additional charges, police say

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Two men who were recently charged with attempted murder are now facing additional charges, according to the Columbia Police Department (CPD).

CPS says Rymyro Simmons and Keshawn Potter have been charged with armed robbery, kidnapping & criminal conspiracy in addition to attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

According to police, the pair allegedly shot a male acquaintance while stealing items from him in June 2025.
