JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Drivers in James City County can expect new speed cameras in school zones starting August 25, according to the James City County Police.
The cameras are designed to improve traffic safety in school zones by utilizing technology to detect and cite speeding violations. Citations will be issued to drivers who exceed the speed limit by more than 10 mph, police said.
