CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The New River Valley Home Builders Association has announced their 10th Annual Touch-A-Truck NRV is back this year!
This Touch-A-Truck event will take place on Saturday, August 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Uptown Christiansburg back parking lot.
Officials say this event is designed to provide a safe, hands-on learning opportunity, allowing kids to explore vehicles, fire trucks, squad cars, bucket trucks, and more.
The event will feature activities hosted by local businesses and nonprofit organizations, such as the Touch-a-Trade zone, where children can participate in hands-on activities that introduce them to careers in construction, including building their own bird feeder…
