Southern California is definitely feeling the heat this week, and airports are taking extra precautions.
On Thursday, the temperature at the Palm Springs International Airport reached a high of 117 degrees. ABC’s Trevor Ault was reporting live from the tarmac for World News Tonight where the asphalt temperature was 163 degrees!
