ELKTON — A man remained jailed Thursday after investigators confiscated more than 550 baggies of suspect heroin mixed with fentanyl, three ounces of suspect crack cocaine, three pounds of suspect marijuana and other evidence while searching the suspect, two of his vehicles and an Elkton residence linked to him, according to Cecil County District Court records.
Investigators identified the arrestee as Anthony L. Brown, a 27-year-old North East resident who was identified as a suspect in January during a Cecil County Sheriff’s Office investigation into “a drug trafficking organization led by residents of Cecil County,” court records show. In addition, detectives identified Brown as a “large-scale drug distributor within the organization,” court records allege.
Detectives executed the court-approved raid early Thursday morning at a residence in the 300 block of Landing Lane in Elkton, where they detained Brown after he had arrived at that address in a white Chrysler 200, police said.
