DALLAS — A Dallas County jury has sentenced 35-year-old Edward Dominic Thomas to 30 years in prison following his conviction for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1-B ≥200g, involving fentanyl. The sentence includes a deadly weapon finding.
On May 5, 2024, Dallas Police executed a search warrant at an apartment where Thomas was found. According to investigators, pants with keys to the residence were located next to Thomas, and a firearm was within arm’s reach. Inside the apartment, police recovered over 140 grams of fentanyl, additional controlled substances, and a second firearm.
