CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools administrator is facing a felony charge after two firearms were discovered in his fanny pack on school property, according to Mecklenburg County court documents.
Records state the incident happened Thursday morning, August 7, at Butler High School. A CMS employee found a fanny pack inside the school’s learning center. While checking the bag for any identification to return it to its owner, the employee reportedly found a pistol inside.
The discovery was reported to the school principal, who was able to identify the bag’s owner as Justin Parker Moyer, who is listed as the AP director at Butler High School in court records.
