COLUMBIA, S.C. — All lanes of Hardscrabble Road in northeast Richland County have reopened to the public after years of construction delays and headaches for drivers.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation confirmed to News19 Friday that the final paving of the road is now complete and all lanes are open.
SCDOT did not say that the project was quite done, however. “Crews will continue to work on smaller items until the project is complete,” SCDOT spokesperson Hannah Robinson said in a statement. “Drivers can expect temporary lane closures as we work to complete the project. We ask that drivers slow down and pay attention to crews who may be in the area.”…
