Man sentenced for drunk driving death asks for new trial

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A Morgan County man, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the drunk driving death of a Harvest teen, is asking for a new trial.

Reaford Williams’ car hit and killed 19-year-old Troy Rashawn Howard in 2019.

Williams received his sentence in May, but he was back in a Limestone County courtroom Thursday, with his attorneys arguing he did not receive a fair trial…
