(WANE) — ‘Clover,’ a record-breaking sunflower grown in Indiana, reached new heights and beat the world record, and documentary filmmakers captured the moment.
Alex Babich has successfully grown the world’s tallest sunflower and awaits Guinness World Records’ decision to make it official.
Last year, a documentary film crew followed Babich’s journey to beat the U.S. record, only for him to fall short. The documentary, titled ‘Bloom,’ received a $10k grand prize award in October 2024 from an Indiana streaming service called Hoodox.
