Todd and Stacey Myers Found Guilty of Abusing Adopted Son

A Littlestown-area couple has been found guilty of felony child abuse charges after a trial surrounding the abuse and neglect of their 14-year-old adopted son. Todd Douglas Myers, 57, and Stacey Lynn Myers, 51, both of Mount Joy Township, were convicted on Wednesday, July 6, 2025, in Adams County Court of Common Pleas.

The charges stemmed from the couple’s mistreatment of the child, who was found severely malnourished, weighing only 77 pounds. Investigators also uncovered that the boy had been repeatedly tasered by Stacey Myers, locked in an unheated basement, and forced to wear adult diapers 24/7. The child was also allegedly struck with a board and thrown down stairs by Stacey Myers.

The case began in March 2021 when Adams County Department of Children and Youth Services (CYS) was alerted about the child’s conditions.
