MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — For nearly 50 years, Myrtle Beach’s iconic yellow, white and blue seal has been a fixture on city imagery — a seagull cutting across the sun with palmetto trees in the sand.
Since April, city leaders have been working with Florida-based design firm The Zimmerman Agency to develop Myrtle Beach’s first-ever logo.
“Right now, it’s time to have something that represents us that’s new and fresh,” city communications director Meredith Denari said Tuesday.
