Volunteer helping residents after devastating flooding uncovers possible dinosaur tracks

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (CNN) – Flooding in central Texas led to tragic loss of life last month, but it also uncovered evidence of life millions of years ago.

A volunteer helping residents near Austin found what experts say are authentic dinosaur tracks.

They are thought to have been made by an Acrocanthosaurus.

Though technically different to the untrained eye, it looks similar to a Tyrannosaurus rex…
