WAUKESHA, Wis. — The release of Slenderman stabber Morgan Geyser has been delayed due to protests from the community where she was supposed to reside.
The city attorney in Sun Prairie, where Geyser was to be released, filed paperwork reflecting an objection to the placement. “So everybody saw Sun Prairie, and then they’re like, well, why on earth would anybody in Sun Prairie have any position on Morgan at all?,” said Cotton. “Next thing you know, we’re in a hearing, and it’s completely evident where she’s going. How many group homes are there in Sun Prairie? I’m assuming very few. The next thing you know, the objections are being raised, and the whole thing was put on hold.”
When asked about if he has concerns about Geyser’s release, Cotton said “she’s gonna be on GPS monitoring. She’s gonna be on home confinement. She’s gonna be treated by psychiatrists, evaluated by social workers. There’s not a concern with Morgan being in the community.”…
