Missing for days, Wisconsin journalist found alive in Norway

WISCONSIN — Police in Norway found climate journalist Alec Luhn alive on Wednesday, days after the University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate went missing.

Alec Luhn fell down a cliff, broke his leg and femur and lost his phone. According to his mother, Alec Luhn laid there for nearly a week.

His wife was able to gain access to his laptop Tuesday and saw he had been taking notes on glaciers, which he studies and writes about as a climate change journalist. She sent his latest notes to police in Norway.

They were able to find him Wednesday, in an area that had yet to be searched…
