Brooklyn Park SWAT Team Executes Search Warrant Following Unrelated Shooting Incident

In the early hours of yesterday morning, a Brooklyn Park Police Department SWAT team executed a high-risk search warrant on Beard Ct. N. The operation was a part of an ongoing investigation and followed a nearby shots-fired incident that police say was unrelated. According to a statement by the department, the search was carried out at around 2:00 am.

Prior to the SWAT team’s arrival, patrol officers responding to the gunfire had already detained all occupants of the residence in question. There was a need to seemingly double down on the diligence, thus ensuring that no additional threats lingered within the home.
